Hands-On eReader Labs

August 2013:

Staff at the 10 participating libraries provided written and verbal updates and feedback to NTLP staff. Representatives from the 10 libraries meet with NTLP staff via GoToMeeting.com to share input, provide library feedback, learn from one another and reach closure on the project. Judy and dona saw that all related information which might be useful to other libraries was made available via the NTLP website.

The collected materials from the eReader Labs project are available at http://nottypical.org/ereader-lab-materials

Hands-On eReader Labs

The Hands-On eReader Labs project allowed NTLP to purchase sets of eReaders for a number of libraries in North Texas to be used by those libraries for staff training and eReader petting zoo events for their communities.  As part of this project, NTLP and UNT Health Science Center Lewis Library presented 6 sessions of hands-on face-to-face training for librarians on eReaders as used in a library setting.
